The Porterhouse is the larger version of the T-Bone because it is carved from the larger portion of the tenderloin. A Porterhouse is the "King of the T-Bones".
The porterhouse is cut from the loin which is made of two parts. The bigger part which is the shortloin (New York strip) and the smaller cut the tenderloin (Filet Mignon).
NOTE: The steak is individually vacuum packed and CHILLED.
